What is it exactly Chaico® blend?

​Our ChaiCo® is an amazing beverage that has been drinking in our family for decades. A drink containing six ingredients such as coffee, ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, nutmeg.

​It's like any other coffee drinks?

​It does contain coffee, but it really does not mention the taste of coffee that everyone is used to, and many of us don't even like.

​Is ChaiCo® healthy?

​We don't say or claim or advertise ChaiCo® is a completely healthy beverage, but also we can't ignore the benefits of ingredients as they have known for many years, and in addition to everything, we roast our coffee bean at a very low temperatures and fora short time. After all, we believe that people know at the end of the day considering their research, what is good for their body and what is not, and according to it, they act.

​Is the caffeine level in ChaiCo® higher than regular dark roast coffee?

​One of the common claims about light roast coffee is that it is higher in caffeine than long roast. In theory, coffee loses caffeine by volume as it is roasted so it probably does have more caffeine by volume. This point is negligible compared to the variations between different origins – a high grown Ethiopian coffee bean for example would have more caffeine than a low-altitude Brazilian coffee because it takes more time to develop on the tree and therefore gains more nutrients. In reality, there’s only minor losses going from a light roast and a dark roast – just 5.4% – not enough to have a noticeable impact on caffeine levels and certainly not enough to justify choosing a coffee based on roast alone.

​What kind of coffee bean you use?

​Like any company in the food industry, we also have some professional secrets that we keep such as, coffee beans type, roasting temperature, roasting time, and percentage ratio between all ingredients of the blend.

​How ChaiCo® taste? 

 You know what? This is the most difficult question for us to answer because the taste changes from one to the other. We'd like to say that it reminds Chai Lathe, but it will not be quite accurate. On the other hand, it is not very far away. And because there are spices in it, then it also has amazing aroma and slightly spicy flavors.

​Is this supposed to replace my coffee?

​Not really, although it can be an excellent alternative for people who do not really like the taste of coffee but want to enjoy the stimulating features of caffeine. 
 

How many times a day do you recommend drinking ChaiCo®?

​Like everything in our lives, everything must be moderated. Personally, we drink it twice a day, morning and evening, although we know relatives who drink four times a day.

​Is the process of ChaiCo® roasting identical to the process of roasting a regular coffee bean?

​Absolutely not!!! Our roasting time is much shorter and on much lower temperature, and that's why a lot of people and of course we too prefer to drink it.  

​Why don't you sell capsules?

​We all love technology and modern times, but sometimes in life we must stick to the traditional way. That's why we decided that what was good for our family for decades would be good for all our amazing customers. And to tell the truth, there's nothing wrong with giving up some progress, we can even say, that people these days are even looking to go back to those beautiful days, where everything was much simpler.

​What is the origin of the name ChaiCo®?

​ChaiCo® name consists of the word Chai and the first two letters of the word Coffee. The word Chai represents the Chai spices and does not imply that the mixture contains tea or milk powder.

 

​It’s Healthy to Eat the little pieces of coffee Beans which have not sunk to the bottom yet?

​Honestly, in our family we always make sure to have small grind coffee pieces in our drink. We remember that there were family members who protest if there were not enough little grind coffee pieces in the drink, because they believed those pieces perhaps some possible health benefits, so they liked to chew those little pieces. However, if you don't like those little pieces or you're not sure if they're good for you, you can use a small strainer after you use a pot on the stove with milk for you ChaiCo™ drink, or prepare your ChaiCo® with a coffee press if you prefer it based on water. ​And as we said, at the end, each of us finds the right way for his ChaiCo™

It's hard to believe, but how could there is nothing in the drink except ultra light roast coffee, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and clove?

​As we have said, ChaiCo® blend produced in our family for nearly a hundred years, and even these days, we make sure to continue to produce the blend without any additives. no added sugar, no food coloring, no flavorings, no oil, and nothing else except what we declared, plus, we keep the same accurate and low roasting temperature.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Does ChaiCo® contain gluten?

​The vast majority of our ingredients are inherently gluten free. However, we do process some gluten-containing products in our facility. These are stored in a separate area, and processed on separate equipment from non-allergens, but because they are handled in the same warehouse, we cannot 100% guarantee there is no chance of cross-contamination.

​We've talked with our Sourcing team and we think you will be safe. However, ChaiCo® drink company is not "Certified gluten-free."

BREW YOUR CHAICO® AND WHITECOTM

 WARNING: Do not prepare your ChaiCo® blend in Bialetti Moka Express/moka pot/or in any other pot is placed on the stove, for water heats up and generates steam. Because there are differences in texture between regular ground coffee and our ChaiCo® blend, The steam does not pass smoothly to the top chamber where it is ready to be poured and the pressure in the bottom chamber increases until the risk of explosion!​​

 

WARNING: ChaiCo® blend may contain coffee beans that have not been well grounded because we try to minimize the process and be as close as possible to the original preparation used by the family for years. Please drink carefully or use a strainer to filter the pieces that have not been well-grounded.

What 's the best way to brew my ChaiCo®?

​Well, there are several ways to brew your ChaiCo®, and each of us finds out over time the best way for him. ​So, for us there are usually three ways, in the morning we only add 1.5 TBS of the blend to a 7 ounces cup of boiling water and stir it- just like regular instant coffee. Also, to sweeten it, we recommend adding one teaspoon of sugar (4 grams and about 16 calories), but it varies from one to one, and anyway feel free to love your ChaiCo® your way. wait a minute or two until all the ingredients dissolve and then enjoy your ChaiCo® (You can also add some milk, almond milk, coconut milk or any kind of milk you like)

Another way to prepare cup of ChaiCo® for someone who does not like the floating grind coffee pieces in his cup, is to use French press. 

​In the evening on the other hand, we like to take our time and cook our cup of ChaiCo® in simple pot on the stove with milk while at the same tim there is music we love In the background. ​

​So how exactly do we do it? it's very simple. in the traditional way we add 1.5 TBS of ChaiCo® blend to a 7 ounces milk and stir it. 

If you want it a little sweeter you can add sugar and stir everything until it boils. wait a minute or two and join us with a long tradition of magical moments that you will feel from the first sip.

What is the best way to store my ChaiCo® blend?

​The best way to store your ChaiCo® blend is to store it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. We suggest that you avoid storing ChaiCo® in a fridge or freezer. Moving ChaiCo® in and out of the freezer every time you make your ChaiCo® cup can introduce moisture to the blend, resulting in potential mold growth and degradation of the blend.

​Similarly, ChaiCo® blend easily absorbs the flavor of things around it. Take care in choosing a container to store it in (might want to rethink reusing pickle jar), and be mindful that storing near odorous foods, spices etc, may change the flavor of the blend.

​Fresh is best! We recommend drinking your ChaiCo® within 2 weeks of the opening day. After 2-3 weeks, you may notice a drop in the intensity of the flavor and your ChaiCo™ blend may not be as dynamic.

When will my order be dispatched? 

Our distribution centers hours of operation are from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. PST.

ChaiCo®  drink company is proudly preparing the blend every day. Since ChaiCo®  blend prepared daily, we strive to ship out orders on the same day they're placed. This can change depending on operational needs and daily volume.

*Please keep in mind that we are a small company. This means that once your order is received, we typically start the fulfillment process immediately. Because of this, any changes must be received within an hour of receiving this order confirmation email.

As soon as your order is placed, we'll send you an email letting you know we've received your information and will begin putting together your shipment. The first email you receive will have these details within it, keeping you in the loop all the way through.

 

The second email you receive will indicate that your order is now in transit. The details will be like the first set but will include a tracking link that will update gradually as it makes its way to you. 


When can I expect my order to be delivered?

​We send out orders by USPS, with larger orders being sent with UPS. 

USA deliveries should arrive within 1-3 working days. European deliveries should arrive within 7-9 working days from dispatch. Deliveries to the Rest of World will be delivered within 9-12 working days from dispatch, subject to local customs.

We work diligently with our shipping provider to make sure your ChaiCo®  is delivered within the timeline but do appreciate your patience if things don't go according to plan. 

 

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.

 

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

RETURNS

Can I return my order? 

​We can’t accept returns on ChaiCo® drink blend due to its perishable nature.

However, we really want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any issues with your ChaiCo® blend, please follow the instructions below, and contact us at info@chaicodrink.com within one week of receiving your order. We’re happy to help you find something you’ll love.

 

CANCELATION ​You can cancel or modify an order. There could be a $10 to $50 fee associated with those changes depending on where the order is in the shipping process.

 

RETURNS ChaiCo® Drink Company stands behind our products 100%. If you purchased our products from one of our partners, you must work directly with them for return or product exchange.

​Products purchased directly from ChaiCo® Drink Company can always be returned within 30 (thirty) days of purchase, per the following guidelines:

 

Unused Product 

  1. Container must be in its original, sealed and unused condition

  2. Must provide proof of purchase (order number from our website) for a full refund or exchange

  3. Refund excludes any paid shipping charges, restocking fees of $15 dollars and/or any handling charges

  4.  Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Used Product

  1. Open container and partial used product

  2. Once a product has been opened, ChaiCo® Drink Company is un-able to accept the return or refund this product

  3. ChaiCo® Drink Company stands behind our products and we will consider product replacement

 

Damaged Product

  1. ChaiCo® Drink Company will process Credit Memos for any product damaged in shipment transit from CDC warehouse to delivery location

  2. For replacement of damage product please contact customer support team who will generate the Return Authorization number and call tags to pick product up

  3. Receipt of purchase with all claims refund (for ChaiCo® Drink Company direct customers) or replacement

 

Manufacture Damage

  1. ChaiCo® Drink Company will replace product for Manufacture Damages (damaged seal, no seal cover).
